Mr. Sanjay Mehta President
A renowned leader in risk and advisory, and an avid philanthropist, Mr. Sanjay Mehta is one of the founding Partners of BMR Advisors. He has over three decades of experience in assurance, business process, risk consulting, and financial diligence. Mr. Mehta has worked across multinationals, Indian Business
houses, and private equity funds across a range of industries. Leading the Telecommunications Industry and Business Risk Consulting Practice, he has been providing financial and business diligence services to several large PE funds and strategic investors. His experience ranges across Fraud Investigations and FCPA-global compliance, and he provides thought leadership in the areas of Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Governance to organizations in various industries. Mr. Mehta is an alumnus of Delhi University and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mr. Lov Verma – General Secretary
Mr. Lov Verma is a retired officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 1978 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He has close to four decades of extensive experience in public health, child rights, and social justice. Mr. Verma has served as Secretary, Health, to the Government of India for a period of three years,
and played a seminal role in the successful campaign for eradication of Polio, the introduction of free third-line treatment for HIV/AIDS patients, and mainstreaming of accessibility issues for persons with disabilities. Apart from handling the delivery of health services, Mr. Verma also has expertise and experience in the field of finance, human resource, infrastructure development, and extensive coordination with multilateral agencies in the field of public health. He was instrumental in the launch of the Accessible India campaign aimed to develop and ensure fund accessibility to projects across the environment, transport, and ICT verticals. He was actively involved in the expansion of a network of super specialty hospitals (new AIIMS) with special emphasis on institution building. He launched the Bal Bandhu scheme in the area of civil unrest to protect the rights of children; monitored the implementation of the Right to Education Act; and contributed to the drafting of the Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He held many key posts across the Health, Family Welfare, and Medical Education departments in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. In 2013, he chaired the UNAIDS Program Coordination Board in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2014, he was the leader of two important delegations. He led the Indian Delegation to Sydney and Manila with regard to the eradication of Malaria under the Asia Pacific Leaders of the Malaria Alliance. He was also the leader of the Indian delegation to the first Global Health Security Agenda Commitment Development meeting in Helsinki, Finland.

Dr. Sanjay Patra- Treasurer
Dr. Sanjay Patra is the Executive Director of the Financial Management Services Foundation (FMSF). A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Dr. Sanjay Patra has been committed to the development sector for the past 25 years. His contribution transcends multiple issues and streams, such as social audit,
good governance practices, uniform reporting practices, capacity building of voluntary organizations in India, South Asia, and beyond. He is a firm believer in transparency and accountability, and how they help promote development effectiveness. Dr. Patra has facilitated over 200 national and international workshops in the field of Financial Management, Governance, and Legal Issues in the development sector. He also serves as a faculty in various educational institutions for Diploma and Degree programs. He has been engaged in research and training work, and has written many articles and authored several books on financial audit, including a Handbook on Financial Audit and Reporting in NGOs, and Handbook on Social Audit in NGOs. He is also the author of Standards and Norms, Interface and Journals, which are one of the information disseminating initiatives of FMSF to the social sector.

Rajesh Ranjan Singh– Committee Member
A social entrepreneur and a specialist in civic participation, public health and the nonprofit sector, Rajesh Ranjan Singh has nearly three decades of non-profit sector experience. He has a deep understanding of community development, public health, education, and livelihood issues across Asia and Africa.
He has a wealth of experience and expertise in monitoring and evaluating international development programs, and he has been a part of multiple national core committees involved in developing strategic guidelines and frameworks on public health issues. Currently, he is the chief functionary at LEHS|WISH.

Dr. Shelly Batra– Committee Member
Dr. Shelly Batra, MBBS, MD (Gold Medalist), is the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Advanced Laparoscopy Surgeon in a large tertiary care hospital in New Delhi, India. She was selected as a Social Entrepreneur and Schwab Fellow by the World Economic Forum in 2014.
She is also an Ashoka Changemaker, Huffington Post blogger and a best-selling Penguin Author.
Dr. Batra is the CEO of Every Infant Matters. She has dedicated her life to providing health solutions for the poorest of the poor, especially marginalized women and children. She has lectured at Ivy League and other universities, and has delivered TEDx talks for the World Bank and the prestigious Indian Institute of Management. She has spoken at various international forums including those organized by the World Bank, USAID, WHO, World Economic Forum, and has delivered keynote speeches at several events, such as the Geneva Health Forum, the Said School of Business (Oxford, UK), among others.
Dr. Batra is the recipient of the Exemplary Contribution Award for selfless work for the underserved given by the Indian Medical Association.

Arindam Kumar Bhattacharya– Committee Member
Mr. Bhattacharya is the Managing Director and Senior Partner in Boston Consulting Group, India. He is a member of the Global Advantage, Industrial Goods, Operations, and Public Sector practices at Boston Consulting Group. Previously, Mr. Bhattacharya was Advantage a member of the global leadership team of BCG’s Industrial Goods practice, and led the Industrial Goods practice in India.
He was the co-leader of BCG’s Global Initiative and a co-founder and Director of BCG Henderson Institute. Mr. Bhattacharya has worked extensively with India’s Central and State governments on a variety of topics covering both policy development (supporting the planning commission on development of a five-year plan for Indian industry) and transformation of large public systems to drive outcome (transformation of state school systems in Haryana and Rajasthan). Mr. Bhattacharya was a member of Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) National Council for many years. He is the member of International Advisory Council of Oxford India Center for Sustainable Development, Oxford University; the International Advisory Board at the School of Public Policy, University of California San Diego; and the advisory board and several expert committees set up by the Government of India. He is the co-author of the book, “Globality: Competing with Everyone from Everywhere for Everything,” and BCG’s book, “Beyond Great.”

Milton Nayak– Chief Functionary
A Chartered Accountant with close to two decades of experience across development, IT, and finance sectors, Milton Nayak is an expert in the realm of FCRA, NGO finance, grant management, finance process set-up, process automation, MIS, budgeting, monitoring, tax and legal advisory, and financial audits. At LEHS|WISH, Mr. Nayak heads Finance and Administration
and is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, creating and implementing policies, procedures, and systems to minimize risks. He also oversees and provides strategic guidance to LEHS|WISH Admin team. He is a part of the partner and innovator selection process and contributes to discussions with existing and potential donors.
